Ilida Energy SA was founded in 2007 in Athens Greece. It is one of the first companies invested in Greece in production of electricity using photovoltaic technology.
Greece, with its many days of sunny weather is an ideal location for such investments, and Ilida expanded over the years having today a portfolio of five P/V parks, four in Laconia Peloponnese and one in Crete.
Total installed power 480 KW, yearly production of electricity 1200 MWh.
Ilida Energy SA, in an effort to integrate further with the local community, has also invested in full restoration of a traditional stone house, located in Sykia Laconia, the closest village to its P/V parks. This is today Ilida Villas, a top-rated small hotel for the visitors of Sykia village and the region of Laconia.
Ilida villas has brought a wave of visitors in the traditional Sykia village, assisting the local community and giving publicity to the location.
Our future plans are to expand further in renewable energy production, given the fact that elimination of traditional carbon fuels is the direction the whole world is taking, and this trend is expected to accelerate over the coming years.
